The site on the north face of Sky Hill in Lezayre Parish, originally scrub land and gorse, has been excavated and re-profiled without permission to form a 290m long by 30m wide shooting range plateau with bunds and a vehicular track, on land already approved for leisure activities since 1990.

Grass seeding
All grass seeding works shall be carried out in accordance with Drawing Number 1402C A received on 13 May 2014. The works shall be carried out during the next planting season following the date of this approval or in accordance with the programme agreed in writing with the Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure the provision of an appropriate landscape setting to the development.
Drainage scheme
Notwithstanding the details submitted, further details of the scheme of drainage should be submitted to and approved by the Planning Authority prior to any works continuing. The site should then be made available for Inspection by the Planning Authority or their advisors to ensure that the scheme is carried out as approved. REASON: to ensure that site is adequately drained and to ensure such drainage does not adversely affect watercourses nearby.
