The proposal involved demolishing existing garages and a former substation at the rear of a public housing estate in Castletown, replacing them with landscaped open space, additional parking spaces, new boundary fencing, and a pedestrian link between properties at Orry Place. The application was approved by the Council of Ministers on 7 March 2013.
