proposal necessary for development; concrete roof minimises noise/smell; private contractor controls collections; recycling introduced; offered to local shops
One statutory consultee (Fire Service) provided a brief response advising consultation on fire precautions without a clear recommendation; a neighbouring resident raised no overall objection but expressed concerns about access and proposed specific conditions.

Resident of 30 Arbory Street
No ObjectionOn this basis I do not object to the use of the site for the proposed purposes.; It is not safe to assume that those bringing rubbish would come into the bin store from the Callow’s Yard entrance rather than up my drive.; My greatest concern remains that two entrances are shown to the site... which could allow residents of Callow's Yard, shoppers and the public generally to use it unlawfully as a short cut.
Conditions requested: No waste (in bins or otherwise) shall be brought into the site via the entrance from Arbory Street but only via the entrance from Callow’s Yard.; The gates from the site onto the drive leading to Arbory Street shall be kept locked at all times when not being used for the removal of waste from the site.
