PA 05/1532/A – Approval in principle to construct a private dwelling on site of Former Workshop/ Store Ayre Mowers, Bride.
The plans for the proposed development have been inspected and the Drainage Division of the Department of Transport requests that the following comment(s) be passed to your Planning Committee: -
NO OBJECTION In principle subject to: -
1) The proposed development must be connected to the public sewer(s). Full details of the foul and surface water disposal routes from this dwelling must be submitted as part of any subsequent detailed planning application.
A Communication Fee will be payable to the Department of Transport in respect of this drainage connection.
2) There must be NO discharge of surface water (directly or indirectly) from this proposed development to any foul drainage system(s) so as to comply with the requirements of the Department of Transport Drainage Division.
The Division strongly recommends that the necessary percolation tests are carried out and approved, prior to any detailed planning application being submitted in order to support the soakaway proposal.
In the event that this application is approved I should be grateful if these comments could be incorporated in the approval notice.
