Officer's Report
The site represents the curtilage of St. Peter's Church in the heart of Cregneash Village. Proposed is the provision of a toilet suitable for disabled persons, within a new annex. Access it to be from within the Church. Check degree of pitch - suitable for slates?
I have written to the applicant about the degree of pitch on the lean-to, which is 20 degrees. He suggests that 17.5 degrees is the minimum for natural slate. I think it is actually 22.5 degrees. Anyway he suggests that the double-felting of the underlay will solve any problems of the shallow pitch.
As such I consider this acceptable.
