The applications sought consent to replace existing asbestos roofing sheets and rainwater goods with fibre cement sheets at a registered building on Jurby Industrial Estate. There were no refusal reasons stated as these were inspector's reports recommending approval, with positive consultations from the Conservation Officer, Planning Division, and Jurby Parish Commissioners indicating no objections and support for retaining the building through renovation. The inspector assessed that the proposal would renovate and improve the appearance of the registered building without detrimental visual or historical impact. No objections were raised, and the inspector conducted a site visit. Both permissions were recommended to be granted subject to Planning Division conditions.
