Approval in principle was sought for a new probation, bail and aftercare hostel at Ballakinnish House, New Castletown Road, Braddan, to replace the existing unfit David Gray House facility. The application was withdrawn on 16 December 2009.

Replacement of existing buildings on the former Bridge Garage site in Douglas with a new 6-storey building containing 73 apartments, 2 commercial units, and basement car parking for 82 spaces. The application was approved by the Planning Committee on 18 August 2006, with permission issued on 4 September 2006.

Proposal for residential estate layout including plots, roads and sewers for 10 dwellings at Poachers Pocket, Bridge Road, Ballasalla was refused by the Planning Committee due to inadequate flood risk assessment. The site is part of a larger previously approved scheme but conditions remain undischarged.

Erection of a sheltered housing complex to replace the existing church hall at St Ninian's Church, Laureston View, Ballaquayle Road, Douglas, with associated car parking, new access road, landscaping, and a separate church car park. The application was refused by the Planning Committee on initial decision and upheld on review.
