Decision Notice
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019
In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act, and subordinate Orders and Regulations, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to REFUSE an application by Mr & Mrs Simon & Larna Colquitt, Ref 25/80819/B, for the Erection of fence to residential curtilage (retrospective) at 4 Hillcrest Grove Onchan Isle Of Man IM3 3HY for the following reason(s):
- By reason of the fence's height and position within the streetscene, the development is considered to be out of keeping within the locality and represents a discordant and incongruous feature within the streetscene and immediate surrounding area. As such, the fencing fails to accord with the provisions of General Policy 2 (b) and (c) of the Strategic Plan (2016).
