From: redacted Sent: 13 May 2025 07:12 To: Milestone, Lorna <[email protected]> Subject: Planning appeal ref:-24/91399/B Importance: High
Dear lorna
We would just like to confirm the reasons for opposing the planning committee's decision in passing the application 24/91399/B.
Firstly the majority of said works were completed before planning was even applied for. Planning was only sort after I had chris hardisty from building control up to view. Due to disruption caused by the work to the residents of laurys avenue.
Once the planning notice was sent it was not readable from the public highway. Meaning you had to trespass on to the applicants land to view. A point I brought up with Ramsey commissioners planning department.
My wife and i and the fellow residents of laurys avenue. Feel that granting permission for this parking space. (On land he has only owned for approximately 10 months not 2 years as he stated in a letter to the planning office). Will have a major impact on the parking situation for said residents.
Currently no 4 laurys av lies empty due to the residents passing. Should a family with adult children all able to drive and owing cars purchase this property.
With only parking off road for one vehicle his could put 3 extra vehicle's onto laurys avenue. Losing the cul de sac parking will cause problems for all the residents. There has been no issues in the thirty years we have lived in laurys av with regards to parking sadly with this decision there now will be. Several people will be impacted by the decision to make one parking spot. As residents of laurys avenue we all feel the applicant lives on May hill not laurys avenue
