The application site represents the curtilage of Croit-E-John, The Cronk, Shore Road, Ballaugh. The property is a detached single storey property situated on the eastern side of the road.
The Proposal
This application seeks approval for the replacement of two sets of sliding doors on the front elevation with horizontally proportioned windows. The section below would be enclosed to match the existing external finishes of the building.

The application site is located within an area identified as being of High Landscape or Coastal Value and Scenic Significance by the 1982 Development Order.

The proposed alterations would have a minimal visual impact to the property whilst providing additional privacy to the occupiers of the property.
