The application is within a Conservation Area. The rooflights are set to the rear of the property and not visible from a public thoroughfare. The rooflights are not Conservation Style rooflights, which would be more preferable; however, the windows are not readily visible from a public thoroughfare. I consider, on balance, the windows will not adversely affect the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.
