Housing Policy 15
Housing Policy 15 states that the extension or alteration of existing traditionally styled properties in the countryside will normally only be approved where these respect the proportion, form and appearance of the existing property, and only exceptionally where they exceed 50% of the existing building in terms of floor space. The officer assessed the single storey extensions as sympathetic and in-keeping with the traditional dwelling, with the floor area increase being approximately 50%, thus meeting the policy tests without exception required.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
