The site represents the curtilage of 43 Auburn Road, Onchan, which part of a row of two storey terraced properties (end terrace) located on the north-western side of Auburn Road, which is a residential cul-de-sac.

The property has been zoned under The Onchan Local Plan Order 2000 as being within an area of "predominately residential"; the site is neither within a Conservation Area nor within an area of High Landscape Value or Costal Value and Scenic Significance.

Proposal
The application seeks approval for the creation of French windows replacing the existing bay window to the rear elevation.
Representations Onchan Commissioners:- Approve The Authority has received no privately written representations objecting to the application. Assessment / recommendation The proposal is a very minor alteration which will have no impact upon the residential amenities of the neighbouring properties. For this reason the proposal would be appropriate in these locations and therefore the application is recommended is for an approval.
