Environment Policy 35
Policy requires that within Conservation Areas, only development which preserves or enhances the character or appearance of the Area will be permitted, protecting special features. The officer assessed the PVC sliding sash windows as an improvement over non-original casements by replicating original opening method, the front door as more appropriate with little glazing, and rear door as acceptable due to lack of public visibility.
