Housing Policy 16
Policy 16 states that extensions to non-traditional dwellings or those of poor/inappropriate form will not generally be permitted if they increase public visual impact. The officer assessed the proposal against this due to the unzoned location and substantial extension size. It was found compliant because of the 65m distance from the road, screening by grass banking, and matching design/massing, minimising any increased impact.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved plans
This approval relates to the extension and alterations as proposed in the submitted documents and drawings 07 0281/1 and 07 0281/2 all received on 4th April 2008.
Materials matching
The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
