The dwelling 167 Royal Avenue, Onchan, is a part of a row, terraced properties (mid-terrace) which are located on the western side of Royal Avenue and south of Onchan Village.
Land Use Zoning
The property has been zoned under The Onchan Local Plan Order 2000 as being within an area of predominately residential use; the site is not within a Conservation Area.
Proposal
The application seeks approval for the construction of a sun lounge in rear yard area.

We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application.
Assessment / Recommendation
The proposal will act as a infill between the applicants property and the neighbouring property Nr 169. The proposal will have no impacts what so ever upon the residential amenity of the neighbouring property. For these reasons the proposals would be appropriate in these locations and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
