The property 16 Church Avenue, Onchan is part of a row of two storey terraced properties which are located on the north-eastern side of Church Avenue.
Land Use Zoning
The property has been zoned under The Onchan Local Plan Order 2000 as being within an area of predominately residential use; the site is not within a Conservation Area.
Proposal
The application proposes the installation of replacement front and rear doors.

Assessment / Recommendation
The proposals are very modest alterations which will not create any adverse impacts upon the visual appearance of the street scene; in fact the proposal will vastly improve the current appearance of the front elevation of the property. For these reasons the proposals would be appropriate in these locations and therefore my recommendation is for an approval
