No objection subject to conditions on surface water discharge and sewer protection
Do not oppose
Maughold Parish Commissioners noted the proposal with minor concern about future hedge reduction but left assessment to the Planning Officer; Department of Transport Drainage Division raised no objection subject to drainage and sewer protection conditions; Highways Division had no views and did not oppose.
Key concern: negative impact may result on the appearance and character of the Village Green and surrounding area if in future the hedge is reduced
Maughold Parish Commissioners
No ObjectionThe Commission notes that at its present height the hedge will obscure the view of this summerhouse from those visiting the Green and Churchyard in Maughold Village.; Concern was expressed however that a negative impact may result on the appearance and character of the Village Green and surrounding area if in future the hedge is reduced to a size that would reveal the summerhouse.; The Commission is content to leave assessment of this matter to the discretion of the Planning Officer and Planning Committee.
