In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mr D G Watterson Proposal: Erection of an agricultural building at: Chibbenagh Farm St Marks Road Braaid Isle Of Man IM4 2AJ
which was considered on 10th September 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below. Date of Issue: 13th September 2007 Murray House Mount Havelock Douglas
Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- The building must only be used for agricultural purposes.
- No development may commence until there has been approved by the Planning Authority a scheme of landscaping which includes indications of species, planting spaces and planting locations.
All planting, seeding or turfing comprised in the approved details of landscaping must be carried out in the first planting and seeding seasons following the completion of the
development. Any trees or plants which within a period of five years from the completion of the development die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased must be replaced in the next planting season with others of a similar size and species.
- The roof must be finished in green to match those on the adjacent farm buildings to the north.
- This permission relates to the drawings 01207/1, 01207/2, 3646-01 and supporting letter submitted and date stamped 26th June 2007.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Guidance Note
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
