In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mrs F Wade Proposal: Convert one first floor residential room to use as a holistic therapy centre and provision of associated off road parking to rear at: 30 Douglas Street Peel Isle Of Man IM5 1BB
which was considered on 6th September 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to the use of the room described as 2-RM-1 as a holistic therapy centre, as indicated on the plans submitted as part of this application date stamped 17th April 2007.
- The use hereby approved may not be taken up until such time as the parking area is laid out and available for use. Such parking area must be retained thereafter for that purpose.
- The holistic therapy centre hereby permitted shall not be open to customers outside 0900-1730 hours on Mondays to Saturdays. The centre shall not be open Sundays or Bank or Public holidays
NOTE PRIOR to the commencement of any works the applicant is advised to consult the Chief Fire Officer to ensure that adequate fire precautions are taken.
NOTE The applicant is advised that this approval does not grant or imply approval to carry out works on land outside their ownership or control.
This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Guidance Note
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
