Housing Policy 17
Housing Policy 17 states 'The extension of non-traditional dwellings or those of poor or inappropriate form will not generally be permitted where this would increase the impact of the building as viewed by the public.' The officer balanced the policy against the existing dwelling's non-traditional design, finding strict application unreasonable; the proposal's design improvement outweighed increased visibility despite parish objection.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

Surface water drainage

Conditional No ObjectionNo Objection in principle, subject to the following conditions; If this “existing drainage” discharges (directly or indirectly) to the foul sewerage system then it should be noted that an alternative means of surface water disposal must be provided.
Conditions requested: There must be NO discharge of surface water (including that from roofs and paved areas) from this proposed development to any foul drainage systems so as to comply with the requirements of the Department of Transport Drainage Division and the Sewerage Act 1999.; The line of the sewer(s) must be identified before development work commences.
