In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 11th May 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005
Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to the submitted documents and drawing 03/388/2A all received on 16th February 2007.
- The proposed studio holiday apartment hereby approved may be occupied in association with the main dwelling (Ballaseyre Beg) only, and not as a separate unit of residential accommodation.
- To ensure adequate parking provision for the proposed apartment, one additional off street parking space shall be provided within the curtilage of the site.
- The proposed flat must, on completion of the proposed works, comply with the requirements of the Housing (Flats) Regulations 1982 and be registered thereafter under the same Regulations.
NOTE Applicant to consult with Fire Safety Department as proposal falls within the scope of the Fire Precautions (Flats) Regulations 1996.
NOTE For a change in the supply to a premises (domestic or commercial) the applicant should contact the IoMWA Byelaws Inspector (Michael Karran), tel. 69 59 57
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
