In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Mrs Carol Kermode Proposal: Retention of driveway, access onto highway and parking area to rear of farmhouse at: Orrisdale Farm Orrisdale Road Ballasalla Isle of Man IM9 3AE
which was considered on 20 March 2007, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- This permission relates to the retention of the access which has been created as shown in the plans and photographs received on 9th January, 2007.
NOTE The applicant is encouraged to improve the visibility which is available to drivers emerging from the new access onto the Orrisdale Road. However, such works should not result in the removal of trees or significant engineering works which would increase the visual impact of this new driveway.
NOTE The Applicant’s attention is drawn to the recommendations of the Disability Access Officer, a copy of which is attached to this notice.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

You should note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision being made, along with any correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
