Policy L/OSNC/PR/1

ObjectionThe Manx Electricity Authority objects to the above planning application on grounds that the proposed building is in proximity of an 11kV cable.; The MEA objects under health & safety grounds as works may result in serious injury and damage to the cable which is a main feed to properties in the area.; We would request that this objection stands until the applicant has contacted the MEA to discuss possible diversion of the cable, at no cost to the MEA, or assurance that this proposed building will not interfere with the cable route.; if one of the following proposals are met the MEA will remove any objections: - Cable moved or diverted... at no cost to the MEA... Or - That the building or footings is moved 1 metre clear of the HV Cable with the position confirmed on site by slot trenches.
