Conversion of existing store to a dwelling with side store extension, Eairy Kelly Archallagan Crosby
MAROWN
Oh dear! Here we go again. Two at a time seems to becoming the norm! The owners here knew there was no dwelling when they bought the place (c.250 acres). They have run it (successfully, they claim) for 4 years without one. Why should the countryside have to suffer the intrusion of two (or even one) new dwelling in these circumstances?
It seems very much a parallel to the ‘Carnigie’ case 01/0924 et.seq.
The ‘agricultural justification’ makes a possible case for one dwelling and maybe another in the future but we feel that the historical circumstances over the acceptance of the loss of all or any dwellings original to this holding, over-rides this and the Society therefore STRONGLY OBJECTS

Creation of additional car parking spaces, Ramsey Cottage Hospital Cumberland Road
RAMSEY
A very small property on a most awkward shaped site in remote countryside accessed by a popular public footpath. We are reminded of a very recent Refusal in similar circumstances – 05/2221 Lawson’s Croft, The Lhen, Andreas.
Reasons, similar to those applied in that case, could well be appropriate here. The Society OBJECTS.
Ramsey Cottage Hospital already has parking areas to the rear but no-one, especially staff, uses them. They prefer to park on the roadway outside St.Olave’s Church (which is not appreciated by the Parishioners!)
Unless there is to be a Staff Policy requiring them (and patients/visitors) to use these new spaces, those proposed at the rear of the hospital will remain underused.
Yours sincerely,
Ian K. Bleasdale MRICS.,DipTP.,DipLI. Honorary Planning Officer.
