Officer's Report

Planning permission was granted in 1999, for the conversion of a former outbuilding to form a dwelling at Ballig, West Baldwin, Braddan. In 2005, planning permission was granted for a large extension to that approved property, and this application seeks to further amend that approved scheme by the introduction of significant glazing to the south-east and north-west elevation at first

floor level, 4No. rooflights to the south west elevation and the replacement of a door with a window in the same elevation.

Given the significant extensions approved, and the design of the building overall, I consider the proposal to be acceptable.
