In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: Ms V Chimes & Mr T Shaw Proposal: Alterations, erection of a single storey and two storey extension to provide utility, kitchen with bedroom above and a retaining wall to the rear elevation at: 86 Malew Street Castletown Isle Of Man IM9 1LS
which was considered on 25 April 2006, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This permission relates to the alterations and extensions shown in drawings reference AT 774.1 and AT 774.2 both received on 21st February, 2006.
- The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
- The windows in the proposed extension must be installed in accordance with the approved drawings and retained as such unless otherwise approved by the Planning Authority.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning and Building control in accordance with the authority delegated to him under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005
This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

You should note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision being made, along with any correspondence relative to the application, is available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
