Officer's Report
The site represents the curtilage of an existing dwelling situated on the eastern side of Malew Street within Castletown's Conservation Area.
The property is a traditional cottage which has a flat-roofed sun room on the rear. This was approved under the provisions of PA 03/This presently has a corrugated plastic roof which it is proposed to change to a clear polycarbonate roof. The sun room is not visible to the public and the replacement material is likely to be an improvement on the appearance of the structure.
