Key concern: loss of two lengths of prominent stone boundary wall
SPMCE
No ObjectionA “Cottage Ornee” building, which may well once have been a ‘Lodge’ to a mansion house behind(?).; Widening the entrance way will mean the unfortunate loss of two lengths of prominent stone boundary wall. This would seem to be inevitable to meet the present parking/access proposals. One wonders if there is any better approach? A new drive on the left, perhaps?; The present proposals, in as much as they include alterations to the building, are all out of sight and may well slightly improve things.
Braddan Parish Commissioners
Conditional No ObjectionThe Commissioners would recommend approval of the above application subject to the condition that defined that the proposed temporary use as a car park would be limited for a period of six months from the date of the planning approval.
