Officer's Report

The application site is Ballaterson Farm which is set to the east Glenfaba Road.

The proposed building will be used for hay storage. The building will be located next to an existing group of farm building. This is generally acceptable as it limits the visually intrusion of such buildings within the countryside.

I consider the impact of the proposal on the surrounding locality to be fairly limited.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the erection of a barn as shown in drawing numbers S1; SL1 and 3176-01 date stamped 21st October 2001.

C 3. The building must only be used for agricultural purposes.
