Conditional No Objectionwhilst not opposed to the principle of the refurbishment... we would register our concerns at some of the details shown on the plans
Conditions requested: The replacement windows should be wooden sliding sash to both elevations. The low maintenance argument for upvc should be ignored and the traditional design used in the conservation area.; prior to any removal of slates or roof timbers both the Manx Museum and the Isle of Man Antiquarian Society are invited to view and photograph the current roof structure.; All windowsills should replicate the current design and material.; no demolition will take place unless a specific detailed application is made and approved.
