Officer's Report

The application site is set in the open countryside and an area of High Landscape or Coastal Value and Scenic Significance.

The proposal is set back from the public highway. The proposal will not reduce the level of off-street parking provision to the site. The existing shed is to be removed and replaced with this proposal. The proposal will not exceed the ridge height of the existing single storey extension to the main house. The proposal will only be visible when viewed directly from the vehicular entrance to the site. I do not feel the proposal will cause significant harm to the visual amenities of the street scene.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the erection of a timber motorcycle shed as shown in drawing numbers 51341-5 & 51341-3 both received on 28th June 2005 and 51341-6 Rev A received on 12th September 2005.

I confirm that this decision accords with Government Circular No 57/01 (Delegation of Functions to Director of Planning and Building Control).
