The site represents the curtilage of an existing terraced shop on the southern side of Church Road, Port Erin, opposite the residential terrace on the northern side of the road.
Proposed here is the change of use from a book makers to a retail shop selling furniture. The internal alterations involve only the removal of internal partitions.

C 1. The use must be taken up within four years of the date of this notice in order for this approval to remain valid after that time.
C 2. This permission relates to the use of the premises shown in drawings 1379/1, -2 and -3 all received on 22nd July, 2005 as a shop under Class 3 of the Use Classes Order 1982 that is, a shop for any purpose except as one for the sale of food, pet animals, birds, pet foods or motor vehicles.
N 1. PRIOR to the commencement of any works the applicant is advised to consult the Chief Fire Officer to ensure that adequate fire precautions are taken.
