In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 3 October 2005, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This permission relates to the conversion of the existing building to a single dwelling as shown in drawings reference 01, 02 and P.774-02 all received on 7th June, 2005, P.774-03A, -04A and -07 all received on 2nd August, 2005 and the Conservation rooflight details shown in the brochure excerpt received on 23rd August, 2005.
- The forecourt between the building and the public highway must be set out as shown in drawing 02 but making provision for the protection of the existing tree (shown in drawing reference P.774/03A) during and after paving works.
NOTE For water connections that comprise more than a single connection to a water main or service, or where new water mains and hydrants will be required, the applicant should contact the Isle of Man Water Authority Planning and Projects Section, telephone 695958.
NOTE The Chief Fire Officer recommends the installation of mains wired interconnected domestic smoke detection.
NOTE The applicant is reminded that permission from the Department of Transport is required under Section 34 of the Land Drainage Act 1934 in order to divert the mill race across the site. The application should submit an application in writing to the Land Drainage Engineer at the Drainage Division prior to any work commencing on site.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.
Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -
- the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
- any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
- the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
- any appeal has been completed.
