In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the following application made on behalf of:

which was considered on 27 June 2005, subject to compliance with the conditions specified below.

Schedule Of Conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to the use of the ground-floor of Number 13 as a hairdresser’s and beauty salon and the first-floor of Number 13 as a flat, and to the continued use of Number 14 as a nursery.
- Prior to the commencement of the proposed uses of Number 13, the outside play area used by the nursery must be secured against unauthorised access from Number 13; the Registrations and Inspection Officer at the Department of Health and Social Security should be consulted hereon (tel: 685159).
- Prior to the commencement of the proposed uses of Number 13, the developer must consult the Fire Safety Department in relation to the Fire Precautions (Flats) Regulations 1996, and must implement the recommendations arising therefrom.
- Subject to the above conditions, this approval relates to drawing RW/3/5/1 date-stamped 3rd May 2005.
NOTE Attention is drawn to the recommendations of the Disability Access Officer, a copy of which is attached to this notice.
NOTE The applicant is advised to consult the Water Authority with regard to the Water Supply Byelaws.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.
Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -
- the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
- any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
- the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
- any appeal has been completed.
