Officer's Report
The application site is set within the open countryside.
The proposal is to erect a horticultural storage unit. The unit will be set next to the boundary fronting the A9. The applicant has planted a substantial number of new trees along the boundary and along the north west elevation of the building. The proposal will be partially visible from the public highway. However, overtime the new planting will help to obscure the unit. I therefore feel the existing planting should be retained as part of condition so as to reduce any impact on the visual amenities of the locality.
