Conservation Officer Report

2 Marathon Terrace is located on the Queens Promenade, Doug has within the Promenade Conservation Area. The proposal is to replace the existing painted timber shop front with a new painted timber shop front. The assistant Conservation Officer has been in discussion with the applicants regarding this application and can confirm that this application represents these discussions. Recommend approval with condition that if the moulding above the glazing is found to be defective, it should be replaced in painted timber in the same profile as existing.
