In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you on behalf of

Conversion of existing outbuildings into living accommodation, Ballig, West Baldwin, Braddan.
which was considered on the 5 October 1999, subject to the compliance with the conditions or modifications specified on the attached schedule, numbered 1 to 5.

Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town & Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, byelaw, order or regulation.
Note 2: NO WORKS MAY BE COMMENCED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS -
a) the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or b) any review of the initial decision has been completed; or c) the time for requesting an appeal in relation to any decision at review has expired; or d) any appeal has been completed.

SCHEDULE OF CONDITIONS Application No. 99/1022
- The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- All doors, window frames and conservatory frame must be made from timber with all subsidiary glazing bars on the windows and conservatory appearing on the outer face of the glass.
- The dwarf wall on the conservatory must be finished in Manx stone to match the existing stonework.
- All new windows must be recessed in each aperture to match the existing.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the Permitted Development Orders, no windows may be replaced, nor garage, garden shed, greenhouse, satellite dish nor other structure erected without the prior permission of the Planning Authority, once the approved building works have been commenced.
NOTE: The Chief Fire Officer recommends the installation of mains wired interconnected domestic smoke detection.
NOTE: This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
