Approval in principle for erection of dwelling, fields 3109 & 3111, Ballamenaugh Road, Lonan. which was considered at a meeting held on the 3 September 1999, for the reasons set out on the attached schedule, numbered 1 to 1. Date of Issue: 13th September 1999

- Whilst the applicant may have had some connection with farming activities in this area at one time, there is no need for a further dwelling in agricultural terms. In addition even if sufficient agricultural need existed, the new dwelling should be located amongst or adjacent to existing buildings. This dwelling now proposed would appear as a sporadic development in an area generally not characterised by roadside development.
