Officer’s Report
The application seeks approval in principle for the erection of a detached dwelling on a parcel of land in Ballaugh.
Permission has previously been sought and refused for the residential development of the site. The land, which is within an area high landscape and scenic significance, is not zoned for residential development and, as such, the proposed development is contrary to the well established policies of the Department. I recommend that the application be refused.
