In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:
Name: S & C Else Proposal: Retrospective application for the erection of a summer house at: 8 St. Patricks View Peel
which was considered on 26 November 2004, for the reasons set out below.

Reasons For Refusal:
- The proposed summerhouse/shed of the proposed size in the rear garden would be prominent when viewed from the public highway. As such the shed would detract from the character and appearance of the area to the detriment of visual amenity.
NOTE The applicant should note that the photographs submitted in support of the application appear to indicate the shed in a slightly different position to that shown on the site plan
NOTE This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
