I would like to comment on the following planning applications, on behalf of the Inland Fisheries section:-
04/02152/B Investigation by excavation to determine cause of collapse and proposed safety engineering works to suspected abandoned mine shaft, adjacent to Cronk-e-Chule, Off Wheel Hill, Laxey
During the works, measures should be in place to ensure there is no risk of run-off to the nearby river.
04/02165/B Removal of part of front wall to provide off-road parking space on paved yard, Brookside, Glen Road, Laxey
Measures must be in place to ensure no materials or debris from the works enters the nearby watercourse.
04/02167/B Erection of sunlounge, Hillside Farm, Slieau Whallian Road, Lower Foxdale
Measures must be in place to ensure there is no risk of run-off to the nearby watercourse.
