Local Government (Control of Advertisements) Bylaws 1952
The byelaws regulate the erection of hoardings and display of advertisements. The officer confirmed compliance through the standard permission wording and conditions requiring maintenance, safety, non-obstruction of traffic signs, and landowner permission. Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Maintenance - clean and tidy
Any advertisements displayed and any land used for the display of advertisements shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
Maintenance - safe condition
Any hoarding or similar structure or any sign, placard, board or device erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Committee.
No obstruction of traffic signs
Any advertisement hoarding shall not be sited or displayed so as to obscure or hinder the ready interpretation of any road traffic sign, railway signal or signal for the control of safety of navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway or airfield.
Landowner permission
Before any advertisement is sited or displayed on any land, the permission of the owner of the land, or a person entitled to grant such permission, shall be obtained.

This approval relates to the installation of signage as shown in drawing reference 63075/B and the location plan, both received on 29th September 2004.
