Officer's Report
The property is a terraced house on the northern side of Port Jack Glen. It is an attractive, two storey house with decorative brickwork and painted timber decoration on the front gate.
Proposed here is the replacement of the windows in the property with plastic framed casements - half and half style., which are not the style in place at present.
The windows would originally have been sliding sashes but I believe that the architectural and visually important characteristics of the terrace lie in the brickwork and timber detailing not in the form of opening of the windows - many others have had similar windows installed.
