Officer's Report

Proposed are 2 mounded 15 tonne LPG storage vessels to replace 6, 2 tonne LPG tanks and 2 vaporisers to replace existing.

The site is part of the existing gas works.

Nick Black (Chief Environmental Health Officer) has advised that the proposal would be beneficial as the off site risks are greatly reduced even though the overall volumes are increased. The vaporisers are not as significant as the tanks.

On this basis the application is judged acceptable despite the neighbour's concerns about noise, vehicle movements, pile driving and hours of working.
