In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you on behalf of: Mr \& Mrs Thompson

Proposal: First floor extension over existing garage to provide additional at: living accommodation 8 The Willows Ballasalla IM9 2EW which was considered on 30 April 2004, subject to compliance with the conditions specified on the attached schedule.

Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.

Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -

• the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
• any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
• the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
• any appeal has been completed.

1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
2. This approval relates to the plans and information submitted as part of this application and date stamped 2nd March 2004.
3. The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
4. There must be no discharge of surface water to the main foul sewer.

NOTE The application states that the surface water from the proposed development is to be discharged to the "existing drainage". If this "existing drainage" discharges (directly or indirectly) to the foul sewerage system, then it should be noted that an alternative means of surface water disposal must be provided. The applicant is requested to supply the Drainage Division with a copy of any Building Control Application in relation to the surface water discharge from this development.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
