PA04/00063 - Dandara Commercial - Erection of Timber Saw Mill Building with Ancillary users, Car Parking and Landscaping - The Barley Field.
The Commissioners would recommend that the above application should be approved. PA03/01237 - Heritage Homes Ltd - Residential Development of Sixty Nine Dwellings with Associated Road, Sewers, Landscaping and Public Open Space Land between Clybane Close and loM Business Park
The Commissioners would recommend that the above application should be approved. PA03/1574 - Dandara Commercial - Creation of a Recycling Compound for Building Materials with associated storage - Field 522517
The Commissioners noted the amended application, but would recommend that the Department of Transport introduce a 30 mph speed limit on the lower end of this roadway to reduce the significant visibility splay requirement; which would have a detrimental environmental impact, therefore avoiding the need to remove a substantial length of the existing manx sod hedge.
PA03/1919 - Mr and Mrs Bettridge - Construction of an Equestrian Schooling Arena on part of Field 524351, Eary Veg, West Baldwin
The Commissioners would recommend that the above application should be approved. PA04/0169 - Mr D Jackson - Application for Dwelling House with Garage - 134 Fairways Drive, Mount Murray
The Commissioners would recommend that this application be refused as the height and mass of the garage are too obtrusive, in particular when viewed from the Douglas to Castletown Highway, and that the size of the existing house could accommodate the extra

living accommodation now being sought to be included within the garage. PA04/0287 - Mr A Bell - Erection of Fence with Gateway on Farmhill Meadows - 16 Clybane Road, Farmhill. The Commissioners would recommend that the above application should be approved. PA04/0288 - Department of Education - Ardwallin Outdoor Pursuit Centre - Creation of Lower Ropes Course The Commissioners would recommend that the above application should be approved.
PA04/0308 - Department of Local Government and the Environment - Relocation of Existing Children's Playground and Formation of Play Area for Older Children.
The Commissioners would recommend that the above application should be approved, but subject to a condition requiring a fence to be erected along the line of the existing hedgerow which should then be planted with climbing plants such as beech.
