Conditions and Notes for Approval / Reasons and Notes for Refusal
C : Conditions for approval
N : Notes attached to conditions
R : Reasons for refusal
O : Notes attached to refusals
1 . The applicant is advised to consult the Department's Conservation Officer to discuss the availability of grant assistance towards the cost of refurbishment or, if this is not practical, appropriate replacement.
R 1 . The building is prominent, handsome, and within a Conservation Area; the installation of PVC-framed casement windows in place of the existing wooden-framed sliding sashes would reduce the interest and attraction of the building, and would fail to preserve or enhance the appearance and character of the Conservation Area.
