In pursuance of powers granted under the above Acts and Order the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby APPROVE the application made by you on behalf of: Helen \& Angus Robb
Proposal: Part demolition, rebuild and alterations to rear extension and installation of french doors, balcony and stairs to rear elevation at: $\quad 48$ Malew Street Castletown IM9 1AF which was considered on 3 March 2004, subject to compliance with the conditions specified on the attached schedule.

Secretary Planning Committee Note 1: This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not include any consent or approval under any other enactment, bylaw, order or regulation.
Note 2: No works may be commenced until such time as -
- the time for requesting a review of the initial decision has expired; or
- any review of the initial decision has been completed; or
- the time for requesting an appeal in relation to the decision has expired; or
- any appeal has been completed.

- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to drawing numbers $03-5015-\mathrm{AR}-001 ; 001,002$ and 004 , submitted and date stamped 21 st January 2004.
- The external finishes of the extension must match those of the existing building in all respects.
NOTE The applicant is advised that prior to the demolition, an application may need to be made in writing to the Chief Executive of the Department of Local Government and the Environment for issue of a direction to demolish under the terms of the Building Control Act 1971.
This decision was made by the Director of Planning in accordance with powers delegated to him under Paragraph 2 (6) (b) of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
