General report Site visited NO The application is for the erection of a single storey extension to form a sun lounge onto the rear elevation of a semi-detached dwelling in a residential area of Ramsey. The extension extends across the rear of the dwelling and projects outwards 3.6 metres. Given the form of the extension and its potential impact on the neighbouring dwelling I wrote to the neighbours and the applicant’s agent. The applicant’s agent informed me that the applicants had satisfactorily discussed the proposal with the neighbour prior to its submission. Given this and the fact that the neighbours did not respond to my letter I concluded that the proposal was acceptable to all concerned parties. The proposal is acceptable.
